A preview of widgets in the main menu
Depending on your goals, you can now provide your users with more detailed information directly on your app’s home screen. Using widgets, you can display small, interactive snippets of information and redesign your main menu to include more elements alongside the menu items, which can now be hidden if desired.
With the release of the new extension, two initial types of information can now be displayed. These include local weather and the current number of COVID-19 cases, based on official figures from the Robert Koch Institute.
To add them, simply go to "Modules and More" and select the extension.
In the settings, you can then create and combine the two widget types as you like. Depending on the package you’ve selected, the feature may not be available or may have limited functionality.
