AppConfector presents: GoWildWest Ranch
In our testimonial series, we’d like to introduce you today to the company GoWildWest, its founder Isabel Probst, and her experience with one of our apps
Go Wild West
“One night, with the crack of a gunshot,” the Swiss company GoWildWest was founded by Isabel and Severin Steiner-Probst: “Everything just kind of fell into place, and it was clear to us: This is what we want to do!” says Wild West fan Isabel Probst with a twinkle in her eye. You can tell right away that this isn’t your typical event company…
…Because the name “GoWildWest” says it all: The ranch is a small “indoor Western town” with various areas: “Shopping in Nashville, a visit to the cowboys in Texas, getting a taste of prison life in the jail with the Mexicans, dancing in the saloon, visiting a hotel and Canada—everything is possible here and more,” Probst explains. At this dance ranch, wild cowboys and cowgirls can really let loose. Probst offers full event planning and the perfect venue for it. “With saloon girls, real bank robbers, and food and music included for up to 250 guests. All in the style of the American Wild West,” the 34-year-old describes the events.
If you don’t have the right clothes for the occasion, the ranch has you covered. Just go shopping in “Nashville” for the perfect outfits. How about a cowboy hat for the wedding? Because you can also get married at the ranch, complete with Elvis and church bells. And those are just a few of the many possibilities. But guests be warned: Anyone who gets out of line goes to jail, where they can have their (wedding) photos taken right away.
App in the Wild West
Of course, a well-organized business like this also needs advertising. Probst promotes her business through the website, Facebook, flyers, word of mouth, and, since the beginning of this year, through an app we developed. “The app builder is super easy to use and well-structured,” she says when asked why she chose an app from us.
Creating the app was also “really easy,” Probst reports, adding: “We use the app for all sorts of things, but the most important thing for us is that our guests can make reservations directly through the app. That makes the whole process super easy for us and our guests. So far, we’re extremely satisfied. That’s why we’ve already recommended AppConfector several times to other business owners, who then went on to create an app as well.” We say: Thank you very much, Ms. Probst!
Probst also uses the app so her guests can check the calendar feature for upcoming events. Plus, users can not only reserve tables but also sign up for events. And those who are still green behind the ears (when it comes to dancing) can sign up for a dance class and get trained to become a real Western hero. Those who are hungry after a night of dancing should sign up for Sunday brunch right away. Of course, this can also be done via the app.
Probst also regularly promotes the app itself on Facebook and on the website. For example, with free admission:
The guests love it. The app has already been downloaded several hundred times and is being used extensively.
Is there anything else you’d like to add, Ms. Probst?
“GoWildWest… and feel it! Yeeeehaaaa”
We can’t add anything more to that and tip our cowboy hats in farewell. Thank you very much for this conversation! Yeeeehaaaa!
