Submenu for further blocks incl. protection via PIN or user

Description:

This module represents a submenu. You can place additional function modules within this submenu. This allows you to create a basic structure when working with many modules and, among other things, improves navigation within your app.

Usage:

Select "Edit Entries" to switch from the current view of the displayed modules to the modules in the submenu. Just as in the main view, the order of the modules corresponds to how they are displayed within your mobile app.

Use the buttons shown to return to the original level.

Within the settings area of each module, there is a button with an arrow pointing to the top right. Use this function to move the respective module or menu item to one of the submenus listed there. This also allows you to move modules to the main menu.

Optional Detailed Content—In addition to menu items, you can also include formatted content, including images. For more information, see the section on Custom Content Pages for Text, Images, and More.

Searchability of Menu Items and Underlying Content—Allows users to search directly through the underlying content. This includes the titles of menu items, submenu items, and the content of content modules. An active internet connection is required to use the search function.

Design and Layout - As with the general design settings, you can select a custom layout for each submenu to display the menu items. Learn more under “Settings for Design, Menu Layout, ...”

Restricted User Group—Depending on the selected package, the submenu—including all subitems—can be further protected using a PIN or based on specific users. The PIN is the same for all users and can be changed at any time in the admin panel. Users only need to enter it once within the app, after which it is stored there and will only be requested again if a change is made. With user-based restrictions, you can explicitly specify which users are granted access.

TIP: To target a specific user group exclusively via push notifications, for example, you can integrate a “News” module within the protected submenu where users must explicitly consent to receiving messages. This allows you to effectively create separate information channels.

Required short PIN—Select a numeric PIN of any length.

Help text to facilitate PIN entry—Optionally, you can provide a note that appears before entry, informing the user where they can, for example, request or apply for the PIN.

Registered users granted access—Specify users here individually by their registered email address. Confirm each entry to save it. Users who have not yet been created can also be specified here.

Recommendation:

The total number of functional modules and submenus should be chosen carefully. It’s very easy for users of your app to lose track of where they are, fail to find the right sections, or simply feel overwhelmed by the sheer scope of the app.

When setting up your app, do not include all the subpages from your existing website. This can quickly make the app seem very cluttered.
