How do I install the app on a desktop PC or Mac?


The installation, depending on whether it is Windows PC or Mac, differs somewhat in handling. However, all procedures have one thing in common, namely, they adapt to the intuitive behavior of users and their devices. Mostly, there is a subtle hint that an installation is possible. By a finger tap on it, the installation must almost always only be confirmed.

Although this functionality is established by the device and browser manufacturers, the procedure can still change and deviate from the way described here.

First of all, your users need the address of your app. This can be done via various ways such as QR code, via Facebook posting or even as a search result on Google & Co.

For installation, a modern browser such as a Chrome, Firefox and in the future also the Chrome-based Microsoft Edge is required beforehand.

The installation on a Mac:

  1. Your users have the address at hand or click on a link that leads to your app.
  2. On the Chrome browser, there is now a short notice in the address bar, with the words "Install" and a plus sign. Alternatively, a menu item "Install now" can be selected within the app at the top right via the three dots.

  3. Followed by a short confirmation by clicking and the installation is complete. In the further course, the app can be found within Mac OS via the search and also pinned to the Dock.

The installation on a Windows PC:

  1. Your users have the address at hand or click on a link that leads to your app.
