AppConfector GlassSpire is here

Since 2010, businesses have been building their own app with AppConfector. AppConfector GlassSpire opens the biggest chapter since then: the management area is new from the ground up, an app grows out of a few sentences, and no change gets lost any more. Here is what is new and what stays the same.

Redesigned

The management area now wears the glass look of GlassKit: light, dark or automatic, following your device. On a phone the bar sits at the bottom; on a desktop it sits at the top or at the side, whichever you prefer. Beside the module you are working on, your app runs live. You see your changes there as soon as you save.

Your app in around three minutes

Describe your business in a few sentences or enter your website. Once you have confirmed your email address, the AI builds your app: with texts, pictures, opening hours, contact details and the modules that suit your business. If something is not quite right yet, you say so in one sentence; two rounds of refining are free. Already have an app? The app switcher lets you add more, with AI or the classic way.

Clearly laid out

You see your app as tiles, as a list or as a tree with every level. A bar at the top shows you where you are, and one step back is exactly one level. You drag modules into place with the mouse or your finger, into a submenu too. The new content editor handles tables, pictures, videos and links, and opens in the column in place of the preview, or full screen.

Nothing gets lost

After every change you see “Saved · Undo”. In the history of a module you see what changed and when, and you take it back with a single tap. You fetch deleted modules and news back from the trash, and restore points capture the state of your whole app. How far back the history goes depends on your plan.

See what your app does for you

In every plan, the new report shows how often your app has been installed. From Premium upwards it adds visits, new devices and requests compared with the previous period, and every Sunday the weekly review arrives as a notification on your phone.

Notifications for you

You can install the management area as a web app. It then lets you know as soon as a message, an order, an appointment request or a form comes in.

Writing and pictures with AI

In the editor, the AI improves your text on request, shortens it or makes it friendlier. In the media library it creates matching pictures. Every plan comes with a monthly allowance for this.

What stays the same

Your login, your app with all its content and its address stay as they are, and existing contracts keep their terms. There is nothing for you to switch over: the next time you log in, you will see the new management area.
