We are currently busy modernising the management screens of the individual modules. The recently refreshed News module already shows what will soon be possible in your app. Next comes a refresh of the Shop module: its interface will be clearer, so you can make changes even faster.

Your content updated in real time

From now on, the changes you make to your app are sent out in real time to all devices and running apps. This unique feature gives you decisive advantages:

• Users now always get the latest version of your app, instantly and without a restart, even while it is open
• While you edit your app’s content on a PC or Mac, you can now see and try out your changes directly on your smartphone – the static preview in the management area is a thing of the past

This lays important foundations for many new features to come. Give it a try – we look forward to your feedback!

Support for Windows Phone is coming to an end.

Microsoft recently decided to scale back its development work on Windows Phone and Windows Mobile considerably. As a result, big names such as Amazon, PayPal and even Microsoft’s own Skype have already announced that they will no longer actively develop their apps there or will remove them from the Phone Store.

In view of these facts, the limited spread of our users’ Windows apps so far and their low use on our app side, we have decided to end support for the Windows Phone Store 8.0 / 8.1 in the medium term.

This lets us speed up development for the two dominant mobile platforms. Your users on iOS and Android will benefit from strong added value in future.

But don’t worry: all Windows Phone apps will stay in place for now. We will inform the users concerned about the next steps in good time.
