AppConfector presents: GoWildWest Ranch

In our testimonial series, today we would like to introduce you to the company GoWildWest, its founder Isabel Probst and her experience with an app from us.

Go Wild West

“Sometime one night, with a pistol shot” – that is how Isabel and Severin Steiner-Probst founded the Swiss company GoWildWest: “Somehow everything just came together, and we knew: this is what we want to do!”, says Wild West fan Isabel Probst, her eyes shining. You notice straight away that this is no ordinary events company…

Isabel and Severin Steiner-Probst. Mobile entrepreneurs and founders with a yeeehaaa effect!

…because the name “GoWildWest” says it all: the ranch is a small “indoor western town” with different areas: “Shopping in Nashville, a visit to the cowboys in Texas, a taste of prison life in the Mexican jail, dancing in the saloon, a stay in a hotel and in Canada – all of this and more is possible with us,” says Probst. On this dance ranch, wild cowboys and cowgirls can really let off steam. Probst offers complete event organisation and the event hall to go with it. “With saloon girls, real bank robbers, and food and music included, for up to 250 guests. All in the style of the American Wild West,” is how the 34-year-old describes the events.

If you don’t have the right clothes, the ranch can help with that too. Simply go shopping in “Nashville” for a suitable outfit. How about a cowboy hat for the wedding? Because you can get married on the ranch as well, with Elvis and church bells. And those are just a few of the many possibilities. But guests be warned: anyone who gets cheeky ends up in jail – where they can have their (wedding) photos taken on the spot.

An app for the Wild West

A business this well organised naturally needs advertising too. Probst advertises through her website, Facebook, flyers, word of mouth and, since the beginning of this year, also through an app from us. “The app builder is really simple and trustworthy,” she says when asked why she chose an app from us.

Creating the app was “dead easy” too, Probst reports, adding: “We use the app for all sorts of things, but the most important thing for us is that our guests can make reservations directly in the app. That makes everything really easy for us and for our guests. So far we are really happy. That is why we have already recommended AppConfector to other business owners several times, and they have gone on to create an app as well.” We say: thank you very much, Ms Probst!

At GoWildWest, the name says it all.

Probst also uses the app so that her guests can find out about upcoming events in the calendar. And guests can not only reserve tables but also sign up for events. Anyone who is still a little green behind the ears (when it comes to dancing) can sign up for a dance course and be trained into a true western hero. And anyone who is hungry after dancing the night away is best off booking the Sunday brunch straight away. Through the app, of course.

Probst also regularly promotes the app itself on Facebook and on her website, for example with free admission:

The guests love it. The app has already been downloaded several hundred times and is used a lot.

Is there anything else you would like to add, Ms Probst?

“GoWildWest… and feel it! Yeeeehaaaa”

We have nothing to add to that and tip our cowboy hats as we say goodbye. Thank you very much for talking to us! Yeeeehaaaa!
