Time to go full throttle. What good is an app that not every smartphone user can use? From today we are extending the reach of your app enormously. From now on, all Android users can use what you offer in Firefox, Opera and other browsers too. We are also unlocking full use on modern Windows Phone 8 and future Windows 10 devices for you, free of charge. This means your mobile app now runs on practically 100 % of all current smartphones worldwide.

You will find out more about the Windows Phone Store and push notifications further down. But first, a big thank you for the many sign-ups as VIP testers for our new Project NG. Together we have already worked through a number of questions and feature requests. Our VIPs have also given us a lot of valuable feedback, so we will keep making your app more useful with fresh new ideas.

Windows 10 is just around the corner. Reason enough to get your app ready for all Windows Phone 8 and 10 devices. From now on, your app can be opened on any Windows smartphone and pinned to the home screen as a tile. If you want to give your users the full package on Windows, you can now also have your app published in the Windows Phone Store and, depending on your package, use the full push features of PushPlus. You will find out more in your app’s management area under “App Stores & Co.”

Firefox, Opera, Dolphin and UC Browser now run your app without any trouble too. So many more users reach your mobile offering through Google, Bing and Yahoo without restrictions. Together with the Windows Phone support, you no longer miss a single direct visitor. Why not try it out?

Your app sends you an email straight to your phone whenever an appointment request, a shop order or a completed form comes in. So far, so good. But from now on you can simply reply to the users. Click “Reply” in your mail app and send your answer. It then goes straight to the app user who got in touch. That makes it easier and more relaxed to talk to customers, business partners and fans. Just try it with your next emails.
